Color by Bob Margolis, based upon tunes from Playford's English Dancing Master (1651) and Jr. Jacob van Eyck's Der Fluyten Lust-hof. Hear streaming audio on this page. Suitable for college and high school bands, and community bands, 7 minutes duration, Grade 5. If only movements 1, 3, and 4 are played, the work is closer to Grade 3-1/2, which makes it playable by advanced middle school bands and smaller high school bands as well.
